Solar Ballasts

Lindsay Precast provides precast concrete ballasts for the utility scale and C&I solar projects located on brownfields, landfills, and any other impenetrable sites. The solar ballasts are designed to meet the project specifications determined by the rack manufacturer or the structural engineer of record.

Lindsay's fabrication capabilities allows for any size length, width, and depth solar ballast precast blocks. With standard or custom ballast sizes, Lindsay is capable in hitting even the most stringent project schedules.

All of Lindsay's ballasts are manufactured in the United States and in a weather controlled environment. In addition, Lindsay's precast solar ballasts can be manufactured with the solar rack manufacturer's anchor bolts, thread rods, and posts.

Lindsay Precast has entire teams dedicated to American Concrete Institute (ACI) certified, state Department of Transportation (DOT) certified, and National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) certified to ensure all products are manufactured consistently with the highest quality.
